Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access the Shadowrocket Official Guide and use its documentation. Read them before consulting purchase, setup or troubleshooting instructions. App purchases and use are also subject to the applicable store rules and app license terms.
1. Scope and site content
This is the Shadowrocket Official Guide, with instructions for verifying the official App Store listing, getting started, importing configurations, setting up rules and troubleshooting connections. These terms govern access to and use of the website. They do not replace the app license, App Store purchase terms or agreements covering connection services you already use.
The guide explains features and concepts. Interfaces may vary with app updates, devices and system environments; refer to the options shown in the app. Examples illustrate syntax and do not guarantee results in any particular network environment or the quality of any service.
2. App purchases and service boundaries
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. It is available exclusively through the App Store. Check the App Store listing for pricing, device compatibility, system requirements and applicable purchase terms. Payments, refunds and restoring purchases are handled under the store’s applicable rules. This site does not collect payment for app purchases.
A one-time app purchase is not a subscription to a connection service. This site does not provide, sell or recommend nodes or subscription services. Import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Their validity, permitted use and service terms are determined by the relevant agreement.
3. Lawful use and configuration responsibilities
You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are located and to your activities. Do not use the app or this guide for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ privacy, intellectual property or network rights. Before using a network, account or server, confirm that you have the necessary authorization and follow the applicable network and service rules.
You are responsible for assessing the source of configurations and their rules, and for safeguarding subscription URLs, access credentials and configuration backups. Save a recoverable copy before changing Config, DNS or routing settings. When troubleshooting, avoid sharing logs or screenshots that contain credentials. Following an example does not remove your responsibility to check your own environment.
4. Availability and disclaimers
Website access, app connections and network services may be affected by device status, system permissions, network conditions and server-side changes. This site does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the guide covers every use case. A switch status or test result does not mean that all connections will work as expected.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for access interruptions, configuration changes, network unavailability or data loss resulting from a failure to keep proper backups. The app is sold on the App Store, and related purchase disputes are handled under the applicable rules. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or restricts consumer rights provided by law.
5. Trademarks and intellectual property
The Shadowrocket trademark, app and related intellectual property belong to its developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, or their respective rights holders. Official icons and interface materials displayed on this site are used to identify the product and explain its operation. Their display does not grant a license to use the trademark, app or materials.
Original text and editorial arrangement on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Proper quotations must credit the source and must not distort the original meaning, misrepresent identity or remove rights notices. Accessing this site does not grant the right to copy the app, resell content or use the brand for other business activities.
6. Changes to these terms and reviewing the guide
These terms may be revised to reflect content or feature changes or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Revisions generally apply from the date of publication, except where the law provides otherwise. Check the current text when you use the site again. Changes will not retroactively diminish rights already acquired under applicable law.
